1 cup softened Butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 Large eggs
1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour plus 4 tbsp
1 tsp Baking soda
1-2 cups of Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla and mix.
Combine flour and baking soda. Add half a cup at a time to creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition until no dry flour remains.
Stir in chocolate chips
Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden. Let stand on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
Place on wire racks to cool. Makes about 36 cookies.
Note: This mixture will seem really stiff, but it cooks up well. Do not add extra liquid.
