I borrowed this recipe from Allrecipes.com.

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 egg, beaten
¾ cup dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons evaporated milk
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced….actually I used 4 cloves.
I tend to mix the ingredients early (1/2 day prior to grilling), as I think it allows the flavours to permeate through. I don’t beat the mixture, just use a fork to mix, not packing or over working the mixture. I separate the mix into 8 portions, and make patties of them. Place on a plate, cover and refrigerate until I want to grill ’em.

Cook and serve as you need for your burgers, topping them in any way you want.
