This is really good, but rich.

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 3⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup butter
  • 1⁄3 cup milk
  • 1⁄4 cup heavy cream
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper (fresh ground)
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄4 cup mushroom (cut into small slices)
  • 1⁄2 lb shrimp (cut into small pieces)
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon cornstarch

Cut up the cream cheese and butter into small pieces, add to the saucepan.
Add the parmesan cheese, milk, cream, pepper, garlic and corn starch to the saucepan.
Cook the saucepan contents over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the sauce.
Cook until the sauce starts to thicken.
