6 bacon slices
¼ c flour
2 tsp smoked paprika
12 chicken thighs and or drumsticks
4 c halved mushrooms
2 c sliced carrots
1 c chopped onion
1 tsp chicken bullion granules or equal liquid broth
½ bottle wine (any variety you like to sip)
2 bay leaves
½ tsp thyme

Dust the chicken pieces with flour and paprika. Then, brown in a pan with some olive or vegetable oil. (A few pieces at a time until all are browned) Once browned, into the crock pot for at least 6 hrs on low. Add the mushrooms, and frozen carrots if desired, about an hour before your serving time. (I like to serve along side with a baked potato)
