(the safe one)
1 c whipping cream
½ tsp vanilla
2 tbsp powdered sugar
½ rum (rum flavouring for class)
Ground nutmeg for sprinkling
Custard: 3 eggs, 1/3 c sugar, 2 ½ c milk
1 tsp vanilla, salt
Mix eggs milk in a bowl. In the micro wave heat until it coats a spoon…..stopping every minute or so to stir….you don’t want it to curdle….if it does, beat with electric beater.
Refrigerate for up to 24 h
Cream mixture. Just before serving, mix into custard. Put some cream on the top, an and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Making this for class, I used 18 eggs…
