Since we have our own plants (4), we have been getting a goodly number of cups of berries as the plants mature. Besides making wine, this pie is also good.

Crusts for top and bottom pie
4 cups of berries
1 cup of sugar
4 tbsp corn starch
3 pats of butter

Mix berries, sugar, and cornstarch together. Add to your prepared 9 inch pie plate. (Bottom crust in place) Place the butter bits around the top of the berries, then add the top crust and seal. Cut vent holes in the top crust, and/or place a pie bird in the center.

Cook at 375 F, for 35 – 40 minutes or until the crust is the colour you want. (You may want to cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil to prevent overcooking)
