245 g (11/2 cups) cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed
80 mL (1/3 cup) smooth tahini
30 mL (2 Tbsp) extra-virgin olive oil
30 mL (2 Tbsp) fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste
1 garlic clove
2 mL (1/2 tsp) sea salt
75 mL (5 Tbsp) water, or as needed to blend
Paprika, red pepper flakes and/or fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Warm pita bread and/or veggies, for serving

In a high-speed blender, add the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Blend until very smooth, adding water as needed to blend and/or to reach your desired consistency. Transfer to a serving plate or bowl and garnish with paprika, red pepper flakes and/or parsley. Serve with pita bread and/or veggies, as desired.
