Sharon had shown me how to do the canning, so now I’m into making the flavours of my childhood. Nana and Gram both made pickles and hardly a meal went by that pickles were not served. I certainly don’t make as many as they did, but now I make a few that I can’t buy or that I particularly enjoy.
Lady Ashburnham is a favourite mustard based pickle that I can eat a jar of in one sitting. It is very good.
