Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ white sugar
  • 1 ¾ all- purpose flour
  1. Beat butter until fluffy- slowly beat in cornstarch and then sugar.
  2. With wooden spoon beat in flour, about ¼ flour at a time
  3. On lightly floured surface roll out dough to ¼ inch thickness. Cut out circles.
  4. Place dough circles on waxed paper lined trays and prick each cookie 3 times with a fork
  5. Freeze until firm
  6. Place frozen rounds on baking sheet. Bake in 275 F for 40- 50 mins until firm to the touch. Remove and cool on racks
