Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft butter
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ white sugar
- 1 ¾ all- purpose flour
- Beat butter until fluffy- slowly beat in cornstarch and then sugar.
- With wooden spoon beat in flour, about ¼ flour at a time
- On lightly floured surface roll out dough to ¼ inch thickness. Cut out circles.
- Place dough circles on waxed paper lined trays and prick each cookie 3 times with a fork
- Freeze until firm
- Place frozen rounds on baking sheet. Bake in 275 F for 40- 50 mins until firm to the touch. Remove and cool on racks
