I wish turkey was available at a reasonable price the year ’round. But not to be so. So when we do find a turkey, we find ways of using it for several days. I love the value of this.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 tbsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
3/4 c water
2 green chili peppers
2 cups chopped turkey meat
1/2 tsp garam masala
Directions:
Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Sprinkle cinnamon into the oil and stir. Stir in the onion and cook for 5 minutes.
Then add the garlic, ginger, turmeric and cook for 3 more minutes. Pour in 1/4 of the water cook for about 2 minutes. It too thick add more water.
Add the the remaining ingredients, cover and cook for about 10 minutes more. Taste and make adjustments as you require.
